  • In order to tie cylindrical materials axial to the counter, countersink holes must be drilled both at the top and the bottom of the material
  • In order to carry cylindrical materials such as rolls and shafts that are over 50 kg, eye-bolt hole must be opened and for holes must be threaded in standard pitch threads.
  • Materials must be purified (veya decontaminated) from debur, scale, cutting/drilling oil residue and salt residue after the salt bath.
  • In order to prevent any damage during tranportation, product must be placed in a suitable box or a container before shipment. Especially heavy products must be placed in a plastic or wood wedge and it is vital to cover the threaded male materials with hose of plastic net.
  • In order to protect products from bad weather conditions, product must be covered with strech nylon film and vechicles such us open trucks must be covered with reinforced canvas before shipment.
  • Technical engineering drawings, details, stickers and official documents of the product must be submitted before shipment. If any destructive test requiring quality control report is required, the demand must ve submitted before the operation.
  • Sharp corners and holes must be chamfered
  • Dead-end holes must be carefully inpected.. It is important that they are not very close to the surface. The distance must be equal at the both ends of dead-end holes. It must be avoided of deviation of dead-end holes to surface.
  • Normalization process must be applied to casted parts.
  • In order to prevent explosion risk for closed end thick steel pipes, air release holes must be opened.
  • Pieces like multi step shafts, etc. sharp corners must be chamferred (min. 1,5 mm.) at the cross section changing sections.
  • In the cylindrical parts, it is important to make sure that countersink holes are in the same axis.
  • There may stil be a quailty problem with steel drawn pipes. In order to make sure that the material is suitable for hardenening, the material’s certificate and chemical analyses must be submitted.
